Family Medicine Physician locums opportunity in Wilson, North Carolina near Raleigh, offering full-time weekday coverage in a long-term care setting.

Practice Setting

• Adult and geriatric long-term care facility
• Patients with severe mental illness and dementia
• Onsite pharmacy, rehab, dental, and psychiatric support
• EPIC EMR with Dragon dictation

Schedule

• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, weekdays
• Rotating weeknight call from home
• 24-hour weekend pager call shared among four physicians

Cases and Procedures

• Daily medical rounds on assigned units
• Admission H and Ps, discharges, 30- and 60-day assessments
• Lab, EKG, and imaging review
• Treatment team meetings and family conferences

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active North Carolina license
• BLS and DEA
• Geriatrics or long-term care experience preferred

Travel Accommodations
